Whether it’s with my trusty digital SLR or with my super smart phone, I’m always shooting away hoping for that ideal shot. the smart phone is definitely the tool that has given us an ability to capture many and varied pics. You can experience photos that go from people watching, to people posing, to stunning landscapes, to unique architecture, to art imitating life, to candid moments and fantastic landscapes, you see it all. These are the elements that inspire the creative photos that tell a story.

When I am traveling, one camera is not enough. Today, I always carry at least 2 cameras, one is always my digital SLR with a zoom lens and the other is a smart phone with its integral camera (the camera is a byproduct of our Space Research). When I return home, my first task is to sort out the photos that are the best and saved them.
Then, I sort out the storytelling photography that becomes the basis for my books.The photos help tell the story of people, art, architecture and landscapes. Other photographic images or some of the unusual photos allow my readers to experience the story for themselves. As the saying goes, “A picture is worth a 1,000 words!’
