⚡ 🌍 🎨 ABOUT KRAMER ⚡ 🌍 🎨

Visual Storyteller. World Traveler. Electrical Mind at Work

Ed Kramer, a visual storyteller, world traveler, and an author fusing electricity, storytelling photography and humor who sees the world a little differently—usually through a lens, occasionally through a circuit, and always with a sense of humor.

What began as a career grounded in electrical engineering evolved into something far more interesting: a lifelong pursuit of understanding how things work — and, more importantly, how to explain them so they actually make sense (and maybe even make you laugh).

Electrical — Where It All Begins

Before the cameras, before the books, there was electricity. Here you will find a fusion of power, humor and visual storytelling.

With a background shaped by real-world experience in the electrical industry — including work with the Tennessee Valley Authority and involvement with the Illuminating Engineering Society — Kramer developed a deep understanding of how power flows through the world around us.

But instead of keeping that knowledge locked behind technical jargon, he took a different path: turning complex ideas into stories that people can actually enjoy. Discover Eddie Current and the electricity books that turn complex energy concepts into  engaging, humorous storytelling. these books make electricity understandable, memorable, and surprisingly fun.

Because let’s face it—electricity is fascinating… once someone explains it without putting you to sleep.

🌍 Travel — The World as a Studio
Kramer’s curiosity doesn’t stop at circuits — it spans the globe. Having traveled to over 100 countries, he approaches each destination not just as a tourist, but as an observer of moments, patterns, and stories waiting to be captured. From iconic landmarks to quiet side streets, from dramatic architecture to candid human interactions, every place offers a new perspective. Travel, for Kramer, isn’t about checking boxes — it’s about noticing what others miss. And fortunately, he brings a camera everywhere.

🎨 Art — With a Quirky Twist
Not every image needs to behave. Kramer’s photography blends fine art, storytelling, and a healthy dose of humor. Some images are bold and architectural. Others are subtle and emotional. And some are simply unexpected — capturing those odd, fleeting moments that make you pause and look twice. This is where art and imagination collide: People watching becomes storytelling, Architecture becomes sculpture, Everyday moments become something worth remembering, and occasionally… something worth laughing at.

The Work — Where It All Connects — A Fusion of Electricity + Storytelling + Humor

Kramer’s books and photography are two sides of the same idea: visual storytelling. His photography inspires his writing. His writing gives context to his images. And together, they create a world where curiosity leads the way. From “What Is Electricity (and Where Does It Go When It Leaves the Toaster?)” to “The Complete Theory of Electricity,,, his work blends education, humor, and creativity into something entirely his own. On TheresMyMind.com, you’ll find:

  • Story-driven photography
  • Travel-inspired visual art
  • Books that make complex ideas approachable
  • And a perspective that doesn’t quite follow the usual rules

Final Thought
If it sparks curiosity, captures a moment, or tells a story worth sharing—there’s a good chance Kramer has already photographed it, written about it, or is just about to. So take a look around. And if you happen to see him coming with a camera… you might want to smile.
